Applications are invited only from Indian citizens for the following purely project-based temporary position at Botanical Survey of India, Arunachal Pradesh Regional Centre, Itanagar 791111, Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to send their complete application in the prescribed format with xerox copies of all supporting documents (i.e., educational, experience, etc.) to the undersigned on email at ethno2024@gmail.com on or before 06.03.2024. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview to be held on 08.03.2024. The interview will be held through physical modes. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.
Project Name: Scouting and documentation of grassroots Innovations & outstanding traditional knowledge practices Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh.
Essential: BSc in Botany/Life science/Plant Science
Desirable:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of computers
Responsibility:
- Primary data collection and field survey
- Documentation and presentations
- Report writing
Fellowship: 20,000 + HRA (9%)
Age: As on 01/02/2024 – 28 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.

General instructions:
